By default, time allocation is done against a project or matter. Sometimes, you just want to allocate the time directly to the client, without choosing a project or matter. This is possible with the new version of Chrometa for all users, team admins and team members.
This feature is available to those using the V21 version.
Allocate time to a client for your time
- Go to My Time > Allocated or Unallocated tab
- Check the box on the first column for each time entry you would like to move to a client
- If allocating only one time entry, check the Edit button on the second column 'Actions'
- When the popup appears, click 'Select a client' under "Or allocate to a client"
- Start typing the name of the client
- Click the client name
- Click "Save Entry"
The entry(ies) is (are) moved under the selected client, under a general matter named "General". You do not need to create this matter, Chrometa will create it for you.
Similarly, if you are a team admin, you can allocate your team members' time to a client
