Enabling the Basecamp Integration

Go to Account - Integrations within Chrometa.  Click the Basecamp Classic link, enter your Basecamp URL, Username, and Password.  Click Save Integration Info.

Importing Your Project List From Basecamp

Click the Projects tab in Chrometa. In the top-right, you will see a Sync With Basecamp Classic button.  Click this to import your project list from Basecamp into Chrometa.

Click the Sync With Basecamp Classic button to import your project list from Basecamp into Chrometa.

Going forward, you use this Sync button within Chrometa to makes sure that your project list is in sync with what you have in Basecamp.  Just click it after you make changes within Basecamp to assure both project lists are in tandem.

Exporting Your Chrometa Timesheet to Basecamp Classic

Once you have your Timesheet completed, you can export it to Basecamp Classic with a single click.  (More on Chrometa Timesheets here).

To export your entire Timesheet, click the Export to Basecamp button located to the right of the Timesheet header:

To export one project at a time to Basecamp, click on the Export to the right of the project name, and select Export to Basecamp Classic.

Your time entries will be ported over to Basecamp, with the Annotation field from Chrometa becoming the Description in Basecamp.  (More on Annotations here).
