Enable the Xero Export

To export your Chrometa time entries to Xero, go to Account - Integrations, click the Xero link, and Click Connect...

 Connect your Xero account with Chrometa. 

You will be sent to a secure page within Xero, asking you to authorize Chrometa.  Enter your Xero Email and Password, and click Login.

Then select the organization you want to allow Chrometa to access, and click Authorize. 

You will then be redirected back to Chrometa, with a message at the top of your screen confirming the successful connection.

 Click the projects page link at the far-right to import your projects from Xero.

Importing Your Project List From Xero

Click the projects page link at the far right of the message above to visit the Projects tab in Chrometa. In the top-right, you will see a Sync With Xero button.  Click this to import your project list from Xero into Chrometa.

 Click the Sync With Xero button to import your project list from Xero into Chrometa.

Going forward, you use this Sync button within Chrometa to makes sure that your project list is in sync with what you have in Xero.  Just click it after you make changes within Xero to assure both project lists are in tandem. 

Exporting Your Chrometa Timesheet to Xero

Once you have your Timesheet completed in Chrometa, you can export it to Xero with a single click.  (More on Chrometa Timesheets here).

We match up by email address between the Client in Chrometa and the corresponding Client in Xero.

To export a project's time entries to Xero, click on the Export menu to the right of the project name, and select Export to Xero.

You will then be able to view and edit your invoice within Xero!
